Aisha jamila Hinds is an American actor for over an entire decade. Her credits have included The Shield as well as True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she made her debut acting in 2003. Anna's performance on Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big break. The film was primarily for her portrayal of women's liberation activist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the biography film All the Way, which earned her the respect she was due as an actor. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's drama period series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show has been renewed for the third installment with 20th Century Fox Television.
