Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 8th, 1988. She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of the contracting firm, Stone Contracting. She has Swedish as well as British Isles heritage. Stone began her acting career as a youngster in Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. There she made her stage debut in the production in "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame. Through her teens, Stone participated in various other productions until she made acting her career. The official version of the story is that she made a PowerPoint presentation, which was backed by Madonna's "Hollywood" and later titled "Project Hollywood", in attempt to persuade her parents to let her leave school and move to Los Angeles. She and her mother pitched the pitch and moved to LA. Her schooling was done at home, and she was able to spend her time performing auditions. She made her TV debut in 2004 when she was cast in the role as Laurie Partridge on the VH1 talent/reality program In Search of the Partridge Family. It was followed by a number of smaller TV performances in the years following. After a string of successful performances she was offered the chance to play the role of Jules in Superbad (2007). Her fame as Olive was a highlight of her role in Easy A (2010) followed by a string more roles. In Phoenix, Arizona, she went to Xavier College Preparatory. While she's referred to as a redhead, her real hair shade is blonde. It was Judd Apatow who suggested she change her hair color in Superbad (2007) and she liked it so much that she chose to keep the color. She persuaded her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood when she was age 15 by creating a PowerPoint presentation appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She started acting when she was 11 years old in Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she performed on 16 stages, and took part in the comedy improv troupe of the theatre. Caylee Cowan was also acted in the Valley Youth Theatre.
