Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going to appear in
major-screen comedies like 'Elf' "Anchorman," as well as Talladega
Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine in the year 1967. He began his comedy
career as a part of the Los Angeles-based group The Groundlings. Following his
seven years as a Saturday Night Life cast member, Ferrell became one of the
most renowned comedic actors of the field by releasing off-color films such as
Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was
also a co-founder of the streaming video site Funny or Die and enjoyed his
success as a voice actor in animated films like Megamind (2010). John William
Ferrell, born July 16, 1967 in Irvine, California. Will Ferrell was the oldest
son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell as well as instructor Kay
Ferrell. He was himself, as he admitted was not exactly the class clown when he
was an University High School student. Ferrell, who was quiet and serious,
chose to make his mark on the field and set the school record for the most
field goals scored. Ferrell was a more relaxed person in suburban homes and
didn't exhibit the same kind of outrageous or humorous outbursts later to
define his career. "Very even-tempered and relaxed," his mother
recalled in an interview with Esquire. "You remember those little Matchbox
cars?" Will put together his Matchbox cars completely by himself and be
completely satisfied. You'd say, 'You wanna go to Disneyland today or line up
your cars?' and then he'd need to think about the idea. Ferrell wasn't a
perfect straight man but that's not to say that he wasn't. The hints of his
comic talents was seen every morning at high school, when he disguised himself
to make the daily announcements through the PA system. Ferrell graduated from
the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1986. He joined the Delta
Tau fraternity, and was pursuing a degree in sports journalism.
