Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was born to Janice
(Cooke), an accountant and William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke Kendrick
is her older brother. She was also an actor. Anna Kendrick is Scottish, Irish,
and English. Her stunning performance earned her Theatre World Award and Drama
League Award. She was also a part-time performer in Cabaret’s Kit Kat Club at
"Carnegie Hall Live", in Great Performances, My Favorite Broadway:
the Leading Ladies (1999). (TV). Also, she had the honor of working with
director Scott Ellis and choreographer Susan Stroman at the New York City Opera
House along with Jeremy Irons amongst many more celebrity status actors,
playing the role of "Fredrika" in "A Little Night of
Music".Anna worked-shopped "Jane Eyre" & "The
Little Princess" for Broadway and also starred in the film Camp (2003)
with director Todd Graff.Was nominated in 1998's Broadway Tony Award as Best
Actress (Featured Role Musical) for "High Society." It was her second
nomination for the award in Tony history (after 1991's Tony winner, Daisy
Eagan). In Tony history, George Clooney made fun of her while she worked with
Susan Stroman and Scott Ellis at the New York Opera House. Anna was a part of
Camp (2003) and was nominated for the 1998 Tony Award for Best Actress
(Featured Role - Musical) for "High Society." In the year 2010, she
was nominated between the second- and third episodes of the series. [September
2013] She has the distinction of appearing in three major musicals on screen
which include Into the Woods (2014).
