Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis, an actor and musician, is famous for his hard-edged characters and wisecracking characters in action films. He has appeared in more than $2.5 billion in films. Walter Bruce Willis was born on March 19, 1955 in Idar-Oberstein (West Germany) to Marlene Kassel and David Andrew Willis (from Carneys Point New Jersey), both of whom resided on the United States military base. His family immigrated to the U.S. soon after he was born. Willis was raised in Penns Grove by his mother who worked in an establishment that was a bank, while his father, a welder, was a factory worker and welder. Willis was drawn to drama at the age of high school. While working at an New York City café, the cafe was "discovered". He then was able to be seen in several off-Broadway productions. He was bartending when a casting director saw his charisma and asked for his services as the bartender for a small movie. Willis was a candidate for a variety of roles in movies, but he was not credited. He eventually got the part of David Addison, a private eye, along with Cybill Shepherd, in the romantic comedy series Moonlighting (1985). His humorous and wisecracking P.I. Some believe it's an opportunity to practice to practice for Willis' role in Die Hard (1988), in which he was the sole defender of the thieves of a gang at an Los Angeles skyscraper.
